ABE South Africa 2nd PDI: Introduction to Lab 1(1.1 and 1.2)

The Second professional development institute of 2026 will take place on Saturday the 23rd of May 2026 at Sci-Bono Discovery Centre (Life sciences Lab). The Event aims at equipping teachers with biotechnology skills that they will further be transferred to learners within their schools. The skill ensures hands on exposure to real life biotechnology skills that which closes the gap between classroom activity and real life laboratory experience.

We will be conducting 'Laboratory 1.1: How to Use a Micropipette' and 'Laboratory 1.2: Gel Electrophoresis' from Chapter 1 of Foundations of Biotech. 

Refreshments and lunch will be served. A stipend will be provided.
